Alison Hewitt Governor, Vice Chair of CorporationI am a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and have worked in both the public and private sectors. I am currently employed within the NHS as a Delivery Partner for Right Care. I am Vice Chair of Corporation and also sit on the Audit and Search and Governance Committees.
Jenny SingletonPrincipal / CEOI have worked in the education sector for twenty four years in a variety of teaching and leadership roles. I am passionate about providing an inclusive and inspiring education and enjoy seeing our students flourish and succeed.
Clair Dyson GovernorI have over 15 years’ commercial HR and training experience with a background in retail, hospitality and service industries. I am dedicated to providing training and support to young people in the work force.
Adam Rhodes GovernorI am an alumnus of the College and a Chartered Certified Accountant with significant experience in financial reporting and planning as well as external audits.
I am also an ambassador for the National Apprenticeship Service and fully understand the importance of a high quality education that will set the foundations for learning new skills and further training.
Connor McAlorum GovernorI am a Project Manager for Manchester Metropolitan University where I have gained valuable people and project management experience. I am a firm believer in education as a good foundation on which people can build to regularly upgrade their skills and increase their knowledge.
Matt CroasdaleGovernorI am a senior manager at Royal Mail where I have worked for over 30 years in a variety of commercial, operational and international roles. I have significant experience in commercial negotiation, change management and project management. I have mentored a number of students from the Cheadle and Marple College through my involvement in the Career Ready Mentoring Programme. I am passionate about ensuring that all students are encouraged to maximise their potential.
Laure de RooijStudent Governor

I am originally from Holland but have lived most of my life in France. I am now studying Psychology, Sociology and History A - Levels at The Cheadle College. I want to be a Student Governor so that I can represent students. I hope to learn a lot from this experience and feel it will be helpful in preparing me for University life.
Kaya Dillon Student Governor

I am in my first year at Marple where I am studying A level History and BTEC Applied Science. I have been involved with a political charity for several years. This has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of interesting people, including Andy Burnham. I have an interest in helping people and changing things for the better. I believe that being a Student Governor is the best way for me to have a say in what is going on around me and to help other students to do so.
Sandra DunnStaff GovernorI am the Health & Safety Advisor at the College. I work cross site and liaise closely with staff, students, external local authority agencies and local colleges. I teach First Aid and other H&S related subjects to staff and students and also help to ensure that the medical needs of students are met.
Andrea McConchieParent Governor
I joined the Corporation as a Parent Governor in January after my daughter started at Cheadle in September. My work, as a Medical Writer entails interpreting large amounts of data. I am keen to ensure that students with additional educational needs realise their full potential.
