Governance

The C&M College Network Corporation is its legal governing body and is responsible for high level strategic planning and overarching guidance of the Network and its two colleges.

Currently there are 12 Governors and a Chair – David Lambrick.  Our governors come from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring a balance of skills and experience appropriate to the needs of the Network, and contribute their professional, specialist and general management skills to the Corporation. Four of the governors are in designated categories – two drawn from Network staff, two drawn from the student cohort. The Network’s Chief Executive and Principal is also a governor.

The full Corporation meets regularly, 3 times per term and some governors serve on advisory committees in line with their expertise and experience. These include Audit Committee and Search & Governance Committee. All our governors must comply with the seven key principles of public office, including integrity, accountability and objectivity. All governors agree to abide by a code of conduct, complete a register of interests and undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment.
